Bubble Science Fun
Every year when we return from the Christmas break, we start the new term with a whole school science investigation. This year the children in every class (Reception through to Year 6) have been creating their own science investigations around bubbles. Children develop a question they want to ask, make a prediction (hypothesis), conduct the experiment and then collect results and make a judgement. The children then present their findings to the rest of the class in a variety of ways: posters, videos, slides…
It is a joyful way to face the January return to school and the learning that goes on is immense.
To culminate the week, I had a lot of fun with some helpers trying to find the best bubble solution for the biggest bubbles.
If you want to have a go at making big bubbles here is a website to help you: https://rhubarbandwren.co.uk/best-ever-giant-bubble-mix-recipe/
You can buy glycerin from a chemist.
