The School Day

• Our school day is from 8.45 to 3.15 (32.5 hours a week)

• We open our gates to children at 8.30 am.  

• Our teachers welcome children into class at 8.45 am.

Some children may be invited into school for a booster group or a club earlier than this but that is invite only. 

Break times

• KS1 - 10.20 am to 10.40 am 

• LKS2 - 10.00 am to 10.20 am 

• UKS2 - 10.25 am to 10.45 am 

Lunchtimes

• Reception 11.30 am in the hall and then out to play at around 12.00 pm (eating times vary)

• KS1 11.45 am in the hall and then out to play at 12.00 pm

• LKS2 In the hall at 12.00 pm; out to play when they have eaten

• UKS2 out to play at 12.00 pm, in the hall at 12.30 pm (then out to play again when done)

• The bell rings for the end of lunch at 1.00 pm for all children 

End of Day

• We open the gates for parents at 3.00 pm

• Children are dismissed at 3.15 pm

Children in Years 5 & 6 may walk home from school unacompanied if we have written permission from parents/carers. Please ask the class teacher for a form.
