School Uniform

NKS children wear the following to school:

• Top – Navy sweatshirt, jumper or cardigan

• Shirt – White polo shirt or buttoned shirt

• Bottoms – Grey or black skirt, trousers or shorts

• Pinafore – Black or grey

• Summer Dress – Blue check

• Footwear – Dark coloured trainers

All uniform (including trainers) must be named.

Long hair needs to be tied back throughout the day.
Earrings should be studs or very small hoops.

PE KIT

• T-shirt – Navy

• Shorts – Black or grey

• Trainers

• Tracksuit (cold weather) – Plain black, grey or navy

• Reception children do not need PE kit until told

• Plain hairbands and clips

All PE kit (including trainers) must be named.

Children should be able to remove earrings for PE if they can’t they should come to school with tape covering their ears or be able to apply the tape themselves.

Footwear - Children need two pairs of trainers for school. One pair for inside, and one pair for outside. They should be dark-coloured. The trainers should be sports trainers as we want children to be ready to be active at all times. You do not need a third pair for PE.

Second-hand uniform can be bought from Helen and Douglas House on Kidlington High Street and our wonderful PTA, FoNKS, occasionally put on a second-hand uniform sale.
