Lest we forget

Every year on the Friday closest to the 11th November, the whole school comes out on the playground for Remembrance Day. 

Apple Class made their own poppies to wear and Year 5 & 6 created some beautiful wreaths to display during our assembly. 

I want to thank the fire station for sounding their siren at 11 am and 2 minutes past to mark the 2-minute silence and our Year 5 & 6 counsellors who read Lest We Forget so beautifully. 

The whole school were exceptional throughout the whole assembly.
