End of Year Information

Reports and Leavers

After school today, your child’s report and their class for next year will be uploaded onto their Google Classroom.  This will be from 3:30pm onwards as it can sometimes take a while for them to appear when 307 reports are scheduled to be posted at the same time. Nearly all the children are excellent at logging in to their accounts but if you have problems do speak to their class teacher.  As I said in last week’s newsletter, we put a lot of time and effort into sorting the classes each year and consider friendships, learning behaviours and relationships with adults when we allocate children to classes.

We are very lucky at NKS that staff turnover is minimal but there are always a few changes to announce each year.  Mrs Hull in LKS2 and Mrs McDonnell in Apple Class are retiring after many, many years of service to the school.   They have both been passionate and hardworking members of staff and I want to personally thank them for everything they have done for the children at NKS over the years.

I also want to thank Mrs Sellars who has been teaching in Acer class on Wednesdays this term and has slotted into our friendly school very easily.

Ms Bowman will be taking a year away from school on a sabbatical next year, but we are very pleased to know she will be returning in September 2023 as she is a highly valued member of staff.
