Celebrating the Queen's Platinum Jubilee

It has been so lovely to be able to take some time to celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee today. There has been lots going on for the children and the big artwork is coming along really well. I can’t wait to send out the final images and hopefully put them up as permanent displays in the KS2 hall. This afternoon we started with a very royal assembly attended by Prince Boris and Prince Donald. They did not conduct themselves quite as well as I had hoped, as they ate their crowns and left me a present on my desk,  I think we will have to change them to princes in training. After then, the children played jubilee games and we had a little tea party. 

We are ever so grateful to the parish council who have given every child in the school a comemorative mug which they will be brining home with them today.
