Our childhood years are incredibly precious. Children need to be allowed to be curious and grow from the mistakes they make. Children need to be inspired to love the world they live in and to want to make a difference. Children deserve to have fun.
We want so much for our children: we want them to be happy and achieve their goals and dreams. We want them to enjoy learning because they are inspired and because they want to bring out the best in themselves.
Our curriculum is all about heart. All about enjoyment.
“It is the supreme art of the teacher to awaken joy in creative expression and knowledge.” ~ Albert Einstein
We understand the importance of our role as a school and have designed a unique curriculum that meets both the needs of the National Curriculum and those of the children. At North Kidlington we provide an exciting, thoughtful and ambitious education for all the children in our school.
Through varied learning experiences and practical activities, we aim to equip our children with the necessary knowledge, skills and learning behaviours that will support them throughout life. Key knowledge, concepts and core skills are embedded through a creative, meaningful and reflective curriculum that makes learning fun and forms purposeful connections between subjects, within our community and the world around us. All children are valued, nurtured and celebrated for their personal and collaborative achievements.
If you would like to find out more about the curriculum, please speak to your child's teacher or make an appointment with the head teacher via the office.
“Tell me and I’ll forget. Show me and I may remember. Involve me and I learn”.

Remote Learning Statement
Should a child need to isolate due to Coronavirus, North Kidlington School is ready to respond with remote learning.
Every child has work set on Google Classroom ready for a possible isolation. Some of the work may direct you to Purple Mash or to other websites such as BBC or Oak Academy however, Google Classroom will always be your first place to visit each morning to inform you of the day’s activities as we know lots of places to look can be confusing.
If you need help logging on, or you need support with the learning provided, please contact the office: 01865 372607 and we will do what is reasonably possible to assist.
